Community projects
Prospect is proud to be firmly rooted within our local community.
We listen to local priorities, work with community partners and raise funding to develop initiatives that help our tenants and build the community of Wester Hailes. We support all sorts of projects from digital skills support to a Fun Run. Our current projects include:
Welcome Home
A relaxed friendly group where new tenants can make items for their new homes and get to know each other.
Getting Settled
Getting Settled supports people becoming tenants for the first time to help them feel settled in their new home.
Warm and Well
Our Warm and Well Initiative focuses on keeping people warm in their homes, and helps to reduce energy bills.
Imagination Library
We partner with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library so that children in Prospect homes receive brand new books.
Wester Hailes Fun Run
The Fun Run is an annual community celebration event organised by a partnership of organisations and residents.
