Investing In Prospect Homes

This year we are planning to spend £1.9 million investing in Prospect homes. Our annual investment programme is well underway and includes new windows and doors, kitchens, showers and bathrooms. The external painting programme is underway and this year will focus on Clovenstone Park and Clovenstone Drive.

We also want to carry out 370 electrical inspections during the year. It is a legal requirement for Prospect to carry out these tests in tenants’ homes every 5 years. But it is also a safety issue, and we treat it with the same level of seriousness as our gas servicing. Electrical faults are the second greatest cause of domestic house fires in Scotland. We really appreciate everyone’s co-operation; these tests keep all our tenants safe.
