Community Clear Up Champion 2026

The Sheila Bunt Award 2026 was awarded to Emina Bosnjakovic for being our Community clear Up Champion. Everyone who helped at the clear ups this year was invited to a Prospect Volunteers’ event so that we could thank them for their dedication and hard work. This is the fourth year that we have held Community Clear Ups and this year we wanted to encourage more tenants to be involved in making their clear up a success. We were really impressed by all the people who gave up their time and energy to help put items into the skips and litter pick.

Certificate were given to everyone who participated, before the overall winner of the Sheila Bunt award and runners up were announced.

Third- Michael Brownlie

We also had a street of the year award which this year went to Dumbeg for the number of tenants who came out to help, it felt like everyone who lived there was lending a hand! If you want your street to be in the running for next year’s prize, encourage your neighbours to come along and help out!

Sheila Bunt was a founding Committee member of Prospect and without her and others, Prospect would not exist. Sheila passed away 3 years algo and we now give this award each year in her memory.
