Future Developments

Prospect is working on two developments for much needed affordable housing

Clovenstone

Work is expected to begin soon on a development of 69 homes at Clovenstone Gardens, Edinburgh. Over the past three years we have been working with J. Smart and Co.(Contractors) PLC to develop proposals for the site which is situated off Clovenstone Gardens and Clovenstone Road. We are expecting work to begin in Spring 2022.

The homes that Prospect purchase on the site will be designed to achieve the Scottish Government Greener Standard of Sustainability and will be funded through a mixture of private finance and Scottish Government grant funding via the City of Edinburgh Council.

Morvenside

Prospect are at the early stages of developing plans to build much needed affordable housing on the old  Woods Centre site by the canal in Morvenside, following a decision by Edinburgh Council to sell the site to Prospect. The building had been used as a mail sorting facility for several years and has recently been demolished. Prospect own much of the land surrounding the site and will soon be appointing architects to carry out some initial design work.

Prospect will organise a local consultation event once the early design work has been completed.
