We’ve now completed well over 75% of the electrical testing inspections required before the end of March. It is a legal requirement for Prospect to carry out these tests in tenants’ homes every 5 years. But it is also a safety issue, and we treat it with the same level of seriousness as our gas servicing.. We really appreciate everyone’s co-operation; these tests keep all our tenants safe. Electrical faults are the second greatest cause of domestic house fires in Scotland.

Our contractor Saltire will make sure that your electrical system is in proper working order and pick up on any repairs needed. Minor repairs can be carried out during the inspection, and other repairs will be scheduled for a date that suits you. So it’s very important that you keep to your electrical testing appointment or contact Saltire in advance to rearrange.
