Community Clear Ups 2025

Our 2025 Community Clear Ups start next week. They’re a great opportunity for Prospect tenants to get rid of unwanted household items from their home and garden. During 2024 we removed 13,000kg of rubbish from the community. The clear ups are always very well received by tenants and are in response to issues over how to get rid of larger unwanted items. We were delighted last year when the clear ups were recognised in the CIH Scottish Housing Awards where our clear up initiative won Excellence in Customer Service!

 Prospect provides skips for each area along with litter pickers, PPE, and refreshments. As well as bringing items along on the day, tenants are very welcome to help with litter picking to leave each neighbourhood clean and tidy.

 All the clear ups are on Wednesdays between 10AM-12pM.

 The dates for each neighbourhood are as follows:

Wed 28 May - Walkers

Wed 11 June - Clovenstone Park and Drive

Wed 18 June - Barn Park Cres and Dumbeg Park

Wed 25 June - Westburn

Wed 2 July - Morvenside

Wed 9 July - Clovenstone Gardens and Close

 Tenants living in each area will receive more information including the skip locations closer to the date.
