Repairs

Repairing WindowProspect is not responsible for all repairs in your home – some of them will be your responsibility.

In order to keep costs and rents as low as possible, repairs are organised according to the following categories:

 

 

Emergencies
where there is an immediate safety risk (e.g. major burst pipes, total heating failure, house made insecure following a break-in.
Response and repair time: within 6 hours

 

Urgent
repairs which seriously affect the comfort or convenience of tenants (e.g. no hot water, damage to entry phone, minor leaks)
Response and repair time: within 3 working days

 

Routine
where there is inconvenience only (e.g. fallen plaster, sticking doors, faulty door bells)
Response and repair time: within 10 working days

 

 

 

During office hours, the Prospect Office (0131 458 5480) deals with all repairs, including emergencies. If an emergency occurs outwith office hours (and you are sure we are the right people to deal with it), you should contact Carillion PME on 08459 30 30 31.

Other 24 hour emergency numbers are:


Eaga on 0800 316 1200 (if your gas heating is not working)


Transco on 0800 111 999 (if there is a gas leak)


Scottish Water on 0845 742 0420 (if there is a water leak outwith your property)

Power Cut

In the event of an electrical power cut, you should call 0800 400 600

The attached email form is to allow you to notify us of non-emergency repairs.
