If Your Circumstances Change
People’s circumstances can change. The attached document
outlines how some changes in your income and domestic arrangements
can affect housing benefit.
Changes of Circumstances
New Debt Collection Arrangement
As part of our commitment to reduce money owed to the Association, Prospect will soon be working with a debt collection company. If tenants end their tenancy with rent arrears, we will ask the debt collection company to recover the money owed on our behalf. They will also be pursuing other debts, such as rechargable repairs, for both and former tenants.
They will have the ability to trace tenants for whom we do not have an address, and if necessary take court action.
If you owe Prospect money, contact us as soon as possible to arrange a repayment agreement. This will avoid us having to pursue you through the debt collection company.
