Prospect’s planned maintenance work for this year has included showers, new kitchens, electrical testing, and painting. As a community-based housing association we aim to provide good quality homes in attractive, safe environments and we put significant investment into our housing stock to ensure this. Our planned maintenance programme incorporates ongoing maintenance, required replacements, planned improvements and regular inspections/ testing. The plans are sometimes determined by fixed factors such as the estimated life expectancy of items, for example we aim to replace kitchens every 15 years. Over this financial year planned maintenance has included

  • 46 replacement kitchens
  • 59 new boilers
  • Completed electrical testing for 71 properties
  • Painted internal stairs in Clovenstone
